International Women’s Day – A Day in the Life at Onetag Celebrating Women Shaping Ad Tech

International Women’s Day is an opportunity to recognise the women shaping our industry every day. At Onetag, that impact spans teams, disciplines, and markets; from customer success to product and leadership.

To mark the occasion, we asked members of our team to share what their roles involve, what a typical day looks like, and the advice they would give to women starting their careers. Here is what they had to say:

Lucrezia Visdomini, Head of iGaming:

As a manager, one of my responsibilities is to guide the team and develop strategy together with the Customer Success team I manage.

For the company, I contribute to securing medium – to long-term client retention, helping to build the prestige of having clients who trust and work with us for years.

On a typical day, I collaborate closely with my team, discussing strategies tailored to each client, and work closely with the Supply and Product teams to deliver the best possible service. I also interact directly with clients through weekly recurring or ad hoc meetings, depending on their needs.

My message to those entering the job market is not to be afraid to look for what truly suits you. Don’t accept everything without asking whether it aligns with your values and ambitions.

A healthy work environment includes leadership, of course, but leadership that works alongside you to solve problems, with respect for your time, boundaries, and personal space.

A good manager helps you grow, challenges you constructively, and supports your development — not someone who asks you to bring them coffee.

Giulia Carta, Customer Success Manager Supply

As a Customer Success Manager on the supply side, I build and manage relationships with our supply partners while representing Onetag externally. My role requires a blend of technical expertise and commercial skills: I troubleshoot, analyse data, and support partners in optimising performance, all while relying heavily on my communication and relationship-building skills. Since last year, I have taken on responsibility for my team’s data analysis by creating Business Intelligence dashboards that provide faster and more precise insights.

Every day brings new challenges, ranging from client calls to in-depth analysis and problem-solving. These tasks aim to help our partners increase their revenues and improve their accounts. I collaborate closely with colleagues from the CS team (demand and supply side), as well as the Product and Sales teams, to deliver effective solutions and drive impact.

To any young woman at the start of her career: keep an open mind, remain curious, and welcome feedback as a tool for growth. Believe in yourself and choose the path that feels right for you!

Giulia Del Francia, Product Owner:

As a Product Manager at Onetag, I work closely with tech teams, as well as Sales and Customer Success on the Demand side. I shape and evolve our product by aligning technical teams with commercial priorities and customer needs, ensuring what we build is scalable, impactful, and aligned with the company’s vision. I also support the Customer Success team, listening to their feedback and turning it into clear product decisions.

My typical day is a balance between listening and taking action: defining roadmaps, prioritising initiatives, writing tasks, staying up to date with market trends, and helping teams move in the same direction. The impact of my work is reflected in company growth, stronger client and partner trust, and more efficient ways of working.

To women in the industry or those thinking of joining it, don’t wait to feel ready. Go for it. Trust your judgment and make your voice heard. Stay curious, keep learning, and be a team player. Believe in your team and support each other. Growth happens when we step forward together.

Daniela Anastasio, Product Manager:

As a Product Manager at Onetag, I try to turn ideas into impactful solutions. I bridge technology and people by listening to clients and teams, identifying real challenges, and shaping a roadmap that prioritises what truly adds value.

My day is a constant balance between strategic thinking and teamwork. A big part of my role is ensuring that everyone is moving in the same direction, with a shared understanding of what we’re building and why.

To young women starting their careers: own your ambitions, trust your instincts, speak up, and remember that confidence is built step by step. Stay curious, and don’t be afraid to take paths that feel uncertain – that’s often where the biggest lessons lie.

Barani Sasikaran, Senior Customer Success Manager Demand:

As Senior CSM, UK, I drive revenue and client satisfaction by building strong relationships and helping clients achieve their campaign goals. I grow existing accounts, onboard new clients, support technical and campaign queries, optimise performance, monitor pacing and forecasts, and collaborate cross functionally to improve processes and platform experience. Each day is about teamwork, problem solving and delivering consistent results.

To young women starting their careers: challenges and self doubt are part of growth, not a reflection of your ability. Stay professional, build resilience, seek mentors you trust, and choose environments where your values and contributions are recognised.
